Graphic Card upgrade

I have a 1 year old Sony Vaio VPCSB1B9E/B and I would like to upgrade my graphic card to a 1, 1.5 or 2 GB graphic card from the 116 MB Intel HD Graphics 3000 card I have now but I don't know what graphic cards can fit in this computer. I'm struggling to find it on the internet. Does anyone know of a good graphic card that will fit in this computer? Thank you

Hi AndySkea and welcome.

There is bad news and good news here!

The bad news is that notebook computer graphics are not upgradeable as the graphics chip is actually soldered into the motherboard.  You must make sure the graphics suit your needs before you buy the notebook.

The good news is that you already have a more powerful graphics chip in your model.  In addition to the Intel HD graphics (which are part of the i7 Intel Processor), you also have an
AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics chip for more demanding graphics applications.

The AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics have 1GB of dedicated memory and can 'borrow' additional memory from RAM up to 4,821MB.

To use the AMD Graphics, just slide the SPEED/STAMINA switch at the top left of the keyboard to SPEED.
