For give my ignorance and spelling!!
I am using a XL301 in my lounge on a wireless connection. I have a desk top PC connected to a D-link 604 in the "office", All works well, except that the wireless signal strength to the XL301 is poor. Can I connect a Ethernet cable into the XL301 directly into a nearby phone socket, and connect to the Internet that way? Thus not using a wireless connection, and at the same time keeping wireless/network connection in the "office"? Or how could I improve signal strength to the XL301? I can only think the culprit is the naff antenna on the XL301, as my laptop enjoys excellent signal strength in roughly the same position as the XL301.
