Entertainment Docking Station for my vaio VGN A217M

Hi,
someone know if I can connect a Vaio Entertainment Docking Station on my Vaio VGN A217M like a vaio Model VGN A217S.
I saw a technical specification of both model and it seems like exactlay the same just some little difference from theese models: 217s have more HD (80 vs 100 GB) and this a docking stations.
But I don't know which one is.... (pgra 1?)

There is a port replicator available, VGP-PRA1, but it does not have a TV tuner, if that is what you are looking for.

Hi thanks a lot for your answer, but it does not what Im looking for .... ( I knew about a VGP-PRA1),
What I'm looking for is anotether one sell on a similar model (VGP A217S ) like mine.
Both models are exacltly the same.... but one (VGP A217S ) have this "Entertainment docking station".

Yes, I know which one you refer to, but I don’t think that it is for sale separately, only as part of the original package for some reason – I am open to correction on this.

I saw on www.sonystyle.com that they call it "AV dock" for VGN A series, and also they say : The AV dock cannot be purchased separately. If you do not select the AV Dock as an option, it will not be available as an accessory"....
but my question is:
If I buy it for a replace part, from a tecnical parts, it will running on my A217M?

I suggest that you check what options and accessories were available for your model on purchase.
If this AV dock was an optional extra for the A217M, then I cannot think of any reason why it should not work - if it is a European part that is..
