Thanks for your reply on my DVD writing problems on my K115S. I have tried writing with a DVD+R & a DVD-R but it still tells me to use a CD-R, any ideas
hi daz
you said that you were using movie maker you cant export to dvd using this programme the best thing to do would be to send it back to your dv camcorder that way you can bring it back on using dv gate and burn it to dvd using another app e.g click to dvd
make sure its mpeg 2 when using click to dvd
regards ben
Daz, the K115s comes with a program called Drag 'n' Drop CD/DVD, it's on the start menu or it may just still be starting up with your computer. It's very easy, just drag the file you want copied onto the 'Data' box of the program. Then when the little orange arrow comes up on the box (watch for it, it's very small) you simply click on the arrow. And it writes your DVD. There are a few settings you may want to change but that should at least tell you if your DVD drive is working. I've had my K115s for like 3 months and I have yet to write a DVD
