why does it takes so long to download 15 photos
of +/- 1mb each ??
it takes 10 to 15 minutes and my battery almost got drained of my camera
both hardware is capable of reaching high speeds
but when connected to eachother it goes slooooow
please fix this
Plug in USB to camera, open my computer double click on the camera (normaly shows as a removable drive) you may need to open a file named DCIM, select all pics, right click select copy.
Then open a file for where you want the pics to be stored, right click paste.
Job Done

Sorry..

I would really like to know if this happens with other sony cameras, too?
Because the upload of pictures is a feature I really want to have for my holiday. Does somebody else use this feature?
@J3rry: were you able to solve the problem?
The bottleneck might be the camera.. since vaio pocket transfers files from PC at almost blazing speeds.
However, DSC-P93 supports USB 2.0 (it isn't almost as fast as the vaio though, I had a DSC camera myself), so it might be that sony has to upgrade the data transfer speed from the DSC range, via firmware..
Just a thought J3rry, have you tried both the current and previous firmware? how do the transfer speeds compare.. we might be able to find a solution quicker, if we have that info.
This is very puzzling... meditate on this I must..........

Does anybody else could post his experience with uploading photos from his camera directly to the VP?
What's about the DSC-P100/P150/F828 or cameras from other companies?
Thanks for posting your times!
