I am a TR1MP user about to buy (I think) an SZ1XP. Can anyone confirm that when I connect it to a dataprojector:
1. The projector image will not be distorted (with its 4:3 aspect ratio).
2. When I run Powerpoint the laptop image will automatically resize to 4:3 (with black strips at sides) and I still get a true image on the projector.
This is how my TR1MP works (albeit that more recently connecting to any data projector causes it to crash and reboot when it then works fine) , but I noticed in a Sony shop that whilst the TX series always retains a true image when the scree resolution is changed (like my TR1MP) the SZ1 stretched the image to fill the screen, thus creating a distorted image.
This has made me a little concerned about this critical functionality. You would think this was a given for such a high spec business machine but neither the Sony dealer, Sony Customer Support or Sony Technical Support could give me an answer.
Could someone out there with and SZ1 try it and reassure me before I buy?
