I am using my Vaio VGN-AR51SU as a companion to my high-end workstation. I particularly like its Blu-Ray drive and ExpressCard reader... I am seriously in HDV editing, which I do using Sony Vegas Pro 8 on the workstation. Now, Vegas has the capability to burn BD straight from the timelime; unfortunatley what is lacking is the menu, chapters etc. For that, I'd like to be using the Click to BD application that comes with the Vaio.
Now the question: is it possible to install it on my workstation? I cannot find the installation file anywhere; from the licencing viewpoint it should be possible as I would not use 2 instances of the program. But preparing a BD on the workstation where all my HDV clips are being kept, edited and rendered into final movies would be so much more convenient; a ready project (or am image file to burn) could be moved to the Vaio and burned there.
Hi MoldCAD,
unfortunately Click to DVD is not available to download..
If you really like HDV editing and money's no limit then I'd suggest getting a full BD package like Blu Print
