Can my Sky+ remote control my Vaio VGC-V2s

Hello everyone.

I have sky+ feeding into my VGC-V2S. To avoid using 2 remote controls (the sky+ one for flipping channels and the vaio one for my PC) I woud like to see if I can program my Sky+ remote control to switch off my vaio & adjust the volume.

I have gone throught the codes in the sky+ manual but none of them seem to work.

Does anyone have any wise ideeas?

I doubt you will be able to control sound on your vaio with a Sky+ remote & I'm sure you will not be able to turn off your vaio in this way either.

The codes supplied with the Sky+ for use with sony (i beleive it's 0000) is for Sony tv's only.

hmmm how about a "One4All" remote?

Personally I don't think it'll work, you'd have to experiement

I have experimented with a number of codes & have looked on the web. I would prefer not to buy a universal remote. Does anyone know how I can get this to work? thanks

Have you spoke to Sky?

I called Sky this morning again & they talked mt throught trying abote 6 other codes (all 3 digits) but none of them worked.

They said that their remote does not work on my model...

I guess there is no alternat than purchase another universal remote that will work with my sony vaio 7 sky together..

anyone have any recomendations?...
