I have a VGN-G11VNT with the latest Bluetooth s/w from vaio-link that I am trying to get to use an HTC Athena (Windows Mobile 5) as a modem, using the Bluetooth PAN connection.
Problem is that the Bluetooth software seems to insist on giving the connection its own IP address (192.168.81.1) and blanking the DNS. When I reset the Bluetooth PAN connection to use automatically-obtained IP/DNS, when connected, all goes well. If I reset the settings to automatic before connecting, the software seems to reset them to the broken ones.
This does not happen with the USB connection that WM5 also supports.
Help!
