BIOS Upgrade for PCG-F160

Hello.

My problem is that the grpahics are not in high definition but a kind of VGA poor quality. I thought the solution could be to flsahs the BIOS, so I downloaded the files phalsh2.exe and platform.bin. I booted in DOS but I get a message on running phlash2.exe that the platform.bin file cannot be loaded

What Operating System are you using? I think these old BIOS Updates only work with W2K.

Are you using the correct Video Chip drivers for your OS?

I think Sony has ended support for the F160, which is a pain

Well, drivers are available but they dont seem to work

Even if support has ended, the files are available and if they dont work, what [else] can I do?
