Battery: how to display remaining time with XP (OS Media center) ?

Does anyone know how to display the remaining time of the battery for a XP laptop (Vaio VGN-FE31M, OS windows MCE)?

Hover the cursor over the battery icon in the system tray - don't know if this will work in media center - does in Home. Or double click on it.

Something like notebook hardware control or BatteryMate XP are both applications that predict the battery time remaining, however I don't know think they are very accurate..
