AR41E Problem With 8400M GT External Output To HD TV

Hello everyone.

I've got the latest updated driver for the 8400M GT but now when I try and connect to my TV it says it's a DVI output whereas it's an HDMI output (and the old drivers recognised it as HDMI) and also it will only allow an ouput for 576i whereas again before with the old drivers I could play an HD film to 1080i.

Any helped would be appreciated and I hope I've explained myself properly.

Welcome ot the club,
do a system restore to a time before you updated the drivers. Also only use the Vaio link updates and even then ..as Thalamus famously put it .."If it ain't broke...don't fix it". If you have norton installed and you find the system restore is not working try going into, partly, the full recovery by tapping F10 on reboot and navigate to the system restore provided there and it will work without interference from Nortons.
