512MB-RAM upgrade to 1024MB on VAIO-PCG-K215S how do I do that ?

Hi there Vaio-folks !,

gotta Sony-Vaio PCG-K215S with 2 Memory-slots equipped with 2 bars

with 256MB - I wanna upgrade to a total 1024MB-RAM.

my question:

DO I HAVE TO BY TWO BARS WITH 512MB AND PLACE THEM IN THOSE TWO SLOTS

OR CAN I JUST BUY ONE BAR WITH 1 GB RAM AND LEAVE ONE SLOT EMPTY ?

I know this might be a pretty stupid question but I am just not very firm with these issues.

If you wish to upgrade the RAM to 1GB on your K215S then you will need two 512 MB modules..
