Hi - there is usually a page or so in the manual or on the particular support page for your model which will give you a complete run down of the formats that it supports. What format file are you trying to play?

I'm trying to find a format that works with the sony tablet and brava so i can throw  video.

nothing seems to be easy with sony but with all my stuff to late to turn back now!!

    Now i have done all this spent money on divx and still dose not work on tv letalone on tablet.

If you use a good DLNA server like Serviio, this sorts out any lack of native codec support on the device and transcodes it on the fly for you.....and its free
