hi, I have sony bravia LCD tv ( model KDL-40w5810). i want to connect 5:1 sound system which is only have TRS connector for input.
Is there anyway i can connect my sound system (5:1) as audio output ?

yes your model has 5.1 channel output for connection to an Amp.

TRS connectors are used to transmit analoge audio signal, so you need to buy a cable with one end is SCART and other end is TRS
