A firmware update to version v8.902 was released on December 9, 2020. To date, ie March 4, 2021, this update has not appeared on my TV. I do not want to install this update via USB.
Updating via USB is recommended by Sony support reps and is safe, you can find the detailed steps and the download link for the software update on the Sony website here.
