Based on all the forum messages I've seen regarding this - it's more a SONY than a specific Tv model issue.
According to the manual, the following is supposed to fix this;
On the remote control, press RETURN then
press HOME and select [Settings] then [System
Settings] then [Set-up] then [Auto Start-up]. Be sure
to select [Home] in [Location].
However when I select the Auto Start-up option I'm presented with the Privacy Notice instead.
Is there any chance of a software/firmware fix in the pipeline any time soon???
Who'd have thought something as simple as this would remain unresolved for so long....
