Hey. About to purchase a Sony Tv online and notice you can redeem £100 in cashback with a selected model.
When reading up on this "Smart Offer" I notice that you need to provide the 'in-store' proof of purchase. If you buy it online what classes as 'proof of purchase' and the 'European Guarantee' document?
Thanks and sorry if this has been asked before!

Hi SC,
Just in a similar vein.
I bought an AV Amp from Amazon.co.uk less than a year ago, and had it delivered to me in Czech Republic. It has developed a problem this week.
I have located the local authorised service centre and took it there. However the guy there wouldn't accept a printed copy of the Amazon Order Details (printed directly from amazon), which I believed to be their version of 'original invoice or sales receipt' (wording from Sony European guarantee terms). It has all the required information,ie date of purchase, model name and dealer's name. He also said that the document needed the serial number on it, but this doesn't appear to be the case according to the european guarantee.
Is he correct?
What else can I do to get it fixed under the warranty?
Hope you can help.
Thanks
Terry
