Music file recognition problem

I have the KDL40EX503. All my music files are on Windows Media player 11, my PC runs on Vista. For some reason, my TV only recognises some of the media files and not others. So half my library is missing, although perfectly playable on my PC. Whatever I try, I cannot resolve this issue - anyone had this problem?  Any help appreciated.

I have KDL-46ex713 and downloaded Serviio. I can see images under "Images" but I cannot see any music files under Audio, I have had thisfrom outset, although I did think I had resolved it once I saw photos. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong please advise, as this is very frustrating. I too have Windows Media player 11 and pc runs on Vista. When i look at the media type, in properties of song it says "audio" not sure if this is part of the problem. Also I don't appear to have an option when ripping CD to windows media to change how it is stored? any ideas?
