KDL-65HX955 Help!

Hello! 

 

We have recently been gifted a Sony Bravia KDL-65HX955 TV. It appears to have never been updated or connected to the internet, so when you turn it on, it automatically loads in shop mode. 

 

We have followed all the instructions on the website but it appears that it needs a system update. We have tried to connect it to the internet to do this (error and wont connect) so have resorted to doing a USB update. Followed all the instructions as per the website - inserted the USB, it goes to load for a millisecond and then comes up with "error". 

 

We have tried the restart with the USB connected and still "error". 

 

Where do we go from here? How can I fix this?

Gifting it to you sounds like a cheaper option than paying somebody to take it away 😊

 

Your best bet is to contact Sony for help or for any pointers Sony UK Support .
