KDL-46EX710 and DLNA and Wireless?

Hey,

So I have a KDL-46EX710 and I'm puzzled regarding wireless DLNA.

On the product page for the TV it says it has DLNA as a function. Looking for a compatible WLAN-dongle on the support pages, I read that it does NOT have support for DLNA.

Which is correct?

What WLAN-dongle/adapter doI need? I just tested with a D-Link DWA-140 with no success, no blinking from the LED-light even.

So what needs to be done here?

Hi,

yes your tv is DLNA compatable, in order for this to work you need to connect to your router either by wired ethernet or for wireless you need the UWA-BR100 wireless dongle, only this Sony dongle will work with your tv, the D-Link one will not.

thanks

Ok, thanks a bunch for your answer!

Another question: is it possible to connect both a dongle and, say, USB memory stick via a USB hub into the TV?

Thanks again.

i do not know of anyone that has done this to be honest, you may try it as it will either work or it wont.
