I've been using my KDL-40NX703 Bravia TV to access files on my QNAP server using twonky, and my mac using serviio successfully for some time. However, recently the connection has been intermittent. After a short time of accessing a file, the connection fails and I get the message Connection to server failed. I have checked my router which is working fine. I have checked the status of twonky and serviio which are fine and connecting fine through other devices. I tried updating the TV firmware today, but received the message No new software found.
I have not changed any settings on the TV recently other than retuning the digital channels.
I also have intermittent service when accessing iplayer through the TV.
I had been thinking about signing up to some kind of internet film service, but don't want to waste my money if the TV is not connecting correctly.
Please can someone help?
