Dear all
I just installed my new EX720 and I am positively impressed. The unit came with firmware version PKG3.121EIA-0104. I would like tu update the firmware to the latest version. I tried to do this via the tv but it returns back with no updates are available.
According to the sony site the current software version is PKG3.212EUA.
I tried the manual update procedure as described however I think there is something missing in the instructions. I downloaded the firmware and unzipped it. I placed the contents into a USB stick which was formatted in FAT 32. I tried to follow the instructions as described on the page but the TV does not update the firmware. I think i am missing something. The tv detects that there is a usb but nothing happens.
Can anyone help me out?
