KDL-26S5550 rebooting after firmware update

Hi! I had strange problems with my Sony KDL-26S5550; some channels disappeared suddenly. I tried to re-tune the channels and everything, but no luck. Then I found out that a new firmware update was available for this model and I updated the TV with the SW M7.038. It fixed the tuning problem and I was able to see all the channels, but a new problem arose: the TV reboots itself (almost) always after turning it on; this usually happens ~6 minutes after switching on the TV.

Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior? Is this problem due to software or hardware?

The TV is now updated with SW M7.039 and boot problems are gone.
