Hi. Bought a KD-43X7052 tv, not realizing it’s Linux and not Android. Bought the tv to video call our son who lives abroad. Can anyone advise how we achieve this!. I’ve spent hours trying to figure it out. What app works best? How do you download it? Best webcam to use?

Would really appreciate help. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Since you cannot install software on this TV nor does it support a webcam I would say the best solution is to use a computer, smartphone or tablet and mirror the screen on your TV.

Thanks Peter. I really wish this had been made clear when purchasing. Not really a smart tv.
