iplayer limited film choice?

We recently bought a sony bravia but on trying to access the bbc iplayer we can't seem to get the same choice of films to watch that you can when accessing the iplayer on your computer. Is there a difference between what you can watch on your computer and what you can watch on your smart tv or are we perhaps doing something wrong?

Hi, this is probably a rights issue, in that the BBC don't always have the big screen iPlayer rights but do have PC rights. It's a very complicated area unfortunately, so you probably aren't doing anything wrong. Do checkout the Smart TV FAQ ones it should clarify a few of these areas..
