I have a KDL-46HX803 losing channels

Have a KDL-46HX803 connected to a Sony Home Cinema blu-ray player BDV-E370 and whenever I turn the cinema surroud player on I lose all my TV chaneels that reappear instantly I turn it back off? Help

Hi,

no you have not lost your channels at all, what is happining is that your tv recognises an input (blu ray) when you turn it on and switches the tv to that soarce, naturally when you  turn that input off the tv switches back again.

Thanks for the answer but not too sure that's what I was looking for.

The TV + bluray are connected via HDMI cable and the bluray is a cinema surround system so what should be happening is that I can watch tv but have the sound coming via the 5 surround speakers. But the bluray player is affecting the tv receiving the channels as the signal quality plummets from 100 to 0 as soon as I turn the bluray on on some channels while others it works fine for a few minutes then the signal reduces and eventually drops out.
