I have just today had my kdl46v3000 replaced under warranty for the 46EX503.
Everything was working fine. I started going through all the menus to have a look at all the features it had since its my first smart tv. Suddenly the picture just went off (faded out like a laptop does when the battery is flat) happened when i flicked through some menus but the sound and the backlight stayed on.
Ive tried everything but no picture. The backlight on the tv illuminates and the sound is also fine. I can even hear the menu jingle when i pres buttons on the remote but no picture :smileysad:. I can hear the audio for the tv programmes that are on also,
Im wondering wether ive changed some settings but please can someone help me to fix this.
Ive tried removing all hdmi connections (sky hd box)
tried powercycling by completely removing the power
tried the tv in its basic state without externals.
i cant even reset as i cant see the menus (any way of doing it without seeing the screen?)
someone please help.
