Damaged Power Cable

If my bravias powerline cable has been chewed by an escaped hamster what is the best way to repair it, can i just change the plug/ vut off the damaged bit of wire or do i need to replace the whole power cable? Thanks

yes you can change the plug if the Hamster has chewed the lead close to it, make sure you use the same rated fuse, or you can buy a new lead as most of them are of the kettle type now and plug in to the rear of the tv, some you can see plainly or some may be hidden behind a plastic screw on plate, please in any event if unsure consult your dealer or electrician first !
