I have a Bravia 26S55, I have connected my MacBook (intel 2.4Ghz OS10.6.7 4GB Ram) to it with a VGA lead in order to watch streamed video content. It works, but frequently cuts out and gives the message on the tv "PC no sync 1280 X 768 p60", then after a few seconds the picture returns. During this time the content continues playing ok on the MacBook. It just seems to loose the connection with the tv. I notice that it happens more frequently if a film is playing as opposed to just having the Mac screen mirrored on the Bravia for browsing etc. I have changed the resolutions of the two screens but haven't ben able to find a fix.
I notice that there are hdmi inputs on the Bravia, would this be a better option?
