American KDL-32XBR6 - Can it be used in UK?

Hi,

I have been given a Sony Bravia KDL-32XBR6 by a friend who brought it over from the USA - is it possible to use it in the UK?

I have got a UK/US step down transformer but am not sure if I will be able to get signal using my freeview box and actually use the tv.

If anybody knows if this is possible I would be much appreciated.

Hi

No guarantee's but you would presumably get a signal via set top box/sky etc.. Just make sure the transformer is working or blow the TV when you plug it in.

Last year, I rather amusingly blew up the only sample we had of a Blu-ray player as no-one had labelled it a US product.. Oops!

U.S plugs are different, im amazed you even managed to plug it in!!!
