55HX923 USB HDD REC

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me how this feature works?  Can I only record programmes that I am watching at the time or can I set it up to record a show in the future?

well i will help if i can, i get mine in the morning (23rd) its supposed to work the same way as a vcr, select the program you wish to record in the guide and press record it should kick in the same way as a watch reminder, i do hope your set is ok as there are some complaining of dark lines each side of the screen, it would be nice for a change to hear someone is happy with their set !

Brilliant thank you!  I found the following page on the Sony website which confirms you can select an programme from the EPG to record - so that is cool.

I am aware of the problems people are having with their sets.  avforums.com has all the info.
