Wrong battery capacity detection during charging?

Hello.

When I am charging my Xperia L, battery capacity jumps from 82% directly to 100%. When I disconnect the charger, it jumps back to 82%.

After switch off/on the phone it is OK, it is normally charged to 100%. BUT ONLY ONCE. Next time problem repeats.

Please, is there somebody who know the solution?

Is it battery problem or phone or software?

It is from the beginning, phone works on Android 4.1.2.

Thanks for help.

Thanks for link.

I have found the solution:

1. Switch off and on the phone.

2. Charge to 100%.

3. Leave phone connected to a charger for a long time, in my case for about 14 hours.

After these steps discharging seems to be slower and new charging went correctly.

This should not be battery problem,it is software all the way.How long have you been having the phone?

1 week only.

What would you recommend to me?

Have you ever heard about this?

Thanks.

Yes,it will take some time until the phone will be used to the operating system.Do you restart the phone regularly?Every 2,max 3 days?

Yes, but it helped only once. Next charging is usually next day or after 2 days and problem is still here.

Try to never let the phone discharge until it turns off(between 1-10% always connect to charger).Restart it regularly.Sometimes you can even force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).Do not use battery savers, task killers. You have stamina mode and low battery mode.

I have allready heard that is good to make 10-15 battery cycles, after it the battery is able to use full capacity.

But in this case once it is good and once not.

If you fully discharge it many times, you may end up with it never fully charging. But it is your choice,I only suggest things.
