create a folder on internal memory or SD card "ringtones". Be carefull of the RINGTONES spelling. Put your MP3 ring files into that folder. Restart the phone. Go to Settings > Sound > Phone Ringtone, you will find your MP3s along with default ringtones.
If it helpes please dont forget to click on KUDOS (Star marked icon)
Go to Settings > Apps > ( click options and select "reset app preference" ) This will reset for all apps.
Or Go to Settings > Apps > All ( Search for Sound Picker, open and clear defaults )
Now try to change ring tone it will pop up window select "media storage" ...

I think there is only one thing you should do: click on the Tone icon on the top-right of your screen, it will display your music directly. For example, I also attached a screenshot of it. If you notice, I use a mp3 file titled Pulang as my ringtone. Hope this will help.
Thanks a lot,and one thing I would like to ask that why whenever I used to charged my fone it used to got hang especially while texting..
I did create a folder Ringtones, and put my mp3 file into it, but i still can't see it, nider with a tap on the tone icon. Do you have an other sollution for me pls. I'd like to have my birds singing when my new phone rings!
Try settings-apps-all-media storage,clear defaults.It should show the little music note.
