Is there anyway of using a webcam for skype via the blu-ray usb port? Got the smart blu-ray for the main purpose of Skype however I have been told that I need a Sony TV to use the Skype...Is that right? I understand from the manual that the webcam is connected via the box and not the TV as stated on page 27 and I quote "connect the web camera with microphone to the usb jack"
PLease help me clear up the confusion
I have just been informed from sony that the CMUBR100 is suitable for this as at 14.12 today yet earlier today another advisor from sony said that it is not compatable......Well will see hopefully later on this week when the delivery is accepted and will let you know.
BUT SONY PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER TO GIVE CUSTOMERS THE RIGHT INFORMATION WHEN THEY ASK AS THIS WILL SOLVE PROBLEMS WITHOUT CONFUSION
