Having had a Sony Blu-ray player for over a year on my lounge telly, and enjoying the wonderful media streaming and home networking it offers, I was severely disappointed to find my new HDT500 has no such capabilities (apart from iPlayer on the red button whilst in BBC SD channels).
No Qriocity, no Windows Media Player streaming, no YouTube, ILOVEFILM, etc....nada.
Will this SVC-HDT500 ever have any such functionality delivered in any updates in the future? Any reason they are missing? Will I have to buy yet another device to get this ‘soon to be ubiquitous’ smart TV tech on my other telly?
