Hi,
I'm getting a "no signal" message occasionally on my sony ht xf9000 soundbar ONLY when using my blu ray player.
My kit includes the above soundbar, Sony KD49XE8004 TV, and UBP X700 blu ray. The Blu ray is connected to the soundbar, which is then connected to the TV via HDMI ARC.
Everything works fine except now and again I'll get the above message when switching everything on to watch a movie. Eventually I'll get it working again by rebooting the TV or resetting the HDMI connection by unplugging the soundbar from HDMI 3.
Could this be something that can be fixed with an update or is it likely to be a physical problem with one or more HDMI sockets? Everything works fine if i plug the blu ray directly into the TV, and my Virgin V6 box & PS4 are fine too. Also, if I set the soundbar to display standard mode only, it will work too.
