HI please help, My Blue ray DVD players has stopped working model number BDP-S490

I was using it yesterday fine with the USB port. Went to use it today and now when it turns on the screen comes on say sony blue ray disc fine then nothing. I cant see my menu. Its seems to play a disc but without picture or sound. i have only had it for 10 months. have checked hdmi cable and that works fine. Have never had it connected to the internet.

Please help 😞

Hi there

Seeing as the Disc appears to play, but a blank screen, this indicated a connection issue from BD player to TV (HDMI).

First thing to do, is switch everything off from the power socket at the wall.  If that fails (i know you said you have tested HDMI cable, how?), plug the HDMI cable into another HDMI port on the TV, and see if that works.
