I have owned a Sony RDR-DC305 (but I guess the 305 part is not important) for a couple of years now and generally play only bought DVDs or programmes I have recorded myself using it. However, I have notived that I can put a DivX file on a DVD and play it on there as well. My problem is that this doesn't always work! Some DivX files play and others don't.
I have some software for converting file types and even going from one DivX to another one. Can anyone explain exactly how the DivX file needs to be saved to work? If there is another format that also works, I would like to hear about that, too.
