dav-s800 home cinema show on tv but no sound

Hi my Dav-s800 home cinema dvd i connect it to lg tv but it show picture of the film but no sound coming out from the dav speaker and that of the tv. if socket is disconnected from tv no sound coming out of dav speakers.
