Cant get sound from my console through my Sony cinema system.

I've just bought a BDV-E190 and am trying to get audio from my Xbox using the digital optical input. I can't get any sound at all through it. Are there any settings I have to adjust to make it work?

Hi there

Once your optical cable has been connected correctly (see page 18 on the link below) It also says that you need to turn OFF Control for HDMI.

You then need to goto the Audio Settings on the Xbox (360?) and set it to Dolby Digital 5.1 (see second link below).

Then all you need to do is press the [Function] button on your Sony remote and cycle through until you find the correct source (probably the TV one)
