Audio system communication failure

I have a 55" XF9005 series TV and HT-ZF9 Soundbar.

I occasionally have the fault "TV speakers active due to audio system communication failure.

It happens mainly when the TV and Soundbar have been off for a while.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi @Blumine1818

Do you have a BluRay player connected? There is anecdotal evidence that disabling the HDMI CEC functionality on the player may solve this issue.

I have a Sony UBP X-800 4k player connected.
