sony dsx a510bd dab radio

im trying to update my dsx a510bd dab radio ive followed all the steps what you have to do, im using a sandisk usb stick which is FAT32 with 4GB and ive tryed different ones when i plug it in to update, my sterio just says insert usb, so its not reading it? any ideas?

I presume you've tried to follow the steps to update the system on the Sony website: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/mobile-cd-players-digital-media-players-dsx-series/dsx-a5....

In that case, maybe you can try a different USB stick or reset the system completely by holding "DSPL and (back)/MODE" for more than 2 seconds.
