Hi, I have just got my hand on a Sony a390 and as I've always used canon before and found no issues finding an shutter release (intervalometer) I am having a hard time finding one for the a390.
Hopefully you can get one for the a390 or it's useless to me.
Cheers...

Hi @Lordkwad and welcome to the Community
I don't believe you can connect a wired remote but Page 101 of the User manual says
you can use a wireless:
"You can shoot using the SHUTTER and 2SEC (the shutter is released after 2 seconds) buttons on the RMT-DSLR1 Wireless Remote Commander (sold separately)."
Have a look Here
Hope this helps.

ive sent the camera back now and have gone back to canon, as I need a full release to be able to set the camera to take multiple exposures say for 40 secs and have the remote have a delay between shots and set the amount of shots it will take.
Thanks for letting us know
