have had tv for two and a half years it developed six flash fault sony engineer picked up tv just phoned said it was the display and sony dont give out fixes for that how can i get this fixed its to expensive tv to bin after a couple of years would appreciate any ideas thanks

I think screens can't be repaired, usually the cost to repair a screen approaches the price of a new TV. Sometimes, repair centers do offer exchanges for a cost. Have you tried asking them if they do chargeable exchanges?
