Pages missing

When transferring books from my library to my reader I only get the first 5 or so pages but when I look on the library all the pages are there.  What am i doing wrong, it is happening with every book I try to transfer.

Very strange - experts needed here I think....

The only time I had this was when I found I'd downloaded a "book"  about  a book I wanted - quite why it happened I don't know, it had something to do with geographical restrictions on the original if I remember rightly...
