Have a problem accessing Reader store

Have a problem accessing Reader store. Can somebody help to solve it. The wi-fi connection is good 2-3 stripes however can't access reader store it says "coming soon" that's it.

Yes same here, and the library and Google books seem to depend on it too.

I'd be interested to know how long it's likely to be before it's up.

Yes I also have noted this. Seems rather sad that a main supplier of electronics can't forfill what a product is supposed to do, quite dissapointing, or are we not doing something correctly?

Wonder if Sony can supply an answer to this!!

I've read somewhere that beginning of December is when we might expect the Reader Store to appear:smileyconfused: but I'm keeping my eyes peeled for more information...

Whilst looking for an answer regarding the reader store in the UK all I found was that it was going to be launched in October???? Not found any info that's more recent so hopefully it will be soon!!

I am so glad to find this posting. I pre-ordered my PRS-T1 way back in September and have got the 'coming soon' when accessing the Reader Store and that has been it! Why oh why can't manufacturers get it into their heads that their customers would like to be kept informed - whether the news is good or bad - no news just isn't the answer. Lets hope we get access to the Reader Store shortly or something more informative than 'coming soon', it is so frustrating.

blondie, it's not so much getting access, as the tying up of rights, and so on - each country has it's own laws, each publisher has a different agreement with writers...

I should think it's a real nightmare - but that still doesn't get around the fact the US one has been up for ages.

But there agin, the size of the market probably made it a natural first,
