What is the best software to use for editing DCR-DVD105

Hi, I bought the DCR-DVD105 Handycam 4 years ago and used once.  Came with Nero express 6 software but this seems just for burning dvd's and not editing the video.  Just cannot work out how to edit the video from my computer?  Sent Sony a couple of emails, but didn't get a reply - Can anyone advise what I need to do?  Thanks
