Hi all,
This is my first post here so please forgive any ignorance on my part.
I have the above camcorder, for some reason if I record say a 1 hour video when I import the video onto my laptop the video clip is broken up into two/three smaller clips, it never used to do this. I am using a PNY Class 10 64gb sd card with my camcorder, not being technically minded I dont know if I have inadvertently changed a setting on the camcorder or if the camcorder has to be updated.
Can anyone help with how to get the camcorder back to recording as it used to and how to update if necessary.
Thank you in advance
Michael

Try to import with PlayMemories Home...
Thank you very much for your reply, I noticed in clip properties that the second clip started when the first clip reached 1.97gb, is there a way to have the camcorder record in MP.4 that way it would be longer before another clip is created? Also, do I need to update the camcorder, if so how do I do it?
Sorry for all of the questions
Michael
You should be able to avoid multiple files by choosing the XAVC S HD 50p format, or double recording that also creates an MP4 with the limit of 4 GB per file.
REC Mode:

Dual Video REC:

Thank you, I will try those options.

Hi, I tried setting some of the other options but the camcorder wont record, it says 'REC' on the screen but there is nothing on the Sd card. Do you think it would be worth try resetting to default settings?
Thank you

Michael
You can try, if it's not the "fault" of the Memory Card, but I guess you would be warned by some kind of message in this case...
