Hi. I bought a Sony Handycam DCR-HC42E a while ago and about 4 years ago it wouldn't connect to the computer. I need to transfer the MiniDv tapes onto my computer however I have tried with other peoples devices and it doesn't seem to transfer. There is definitely something on the tapes. Can you advise to what type of camera would be able to transfer the tapes? Can lower models do this? Thanks in advance
